I have a copy of the first edition, and it has some sound stuff in it. Overall, I think it's worth the $27 for the ebook. Of anything in the book, I find this the most annoying, and I've even been wondering if I got sent an older version of the book by mistake. While I'm sure that the fundamentals are the same, it would be nice to at see mentions of SOM block at the least. Zendikar is the most recent one I've seen mentioned. SCG says that it's been updated, but there are constant references to blocks that aren't in play in Standard. ![]() As a new Magic player (started Innistrad), I find a lot of the examples and cards to be unfamiliar. ![]() I've been reading it on and off at night, and while it's good, I do find it a bit hard to follow.
